She has lived successfully with another dog, sharing both a home and even a crate, though she can be a little slow to warm up to unfamiliar dogs and will benefit from thoughtful introductions. Opal has also lived with children ages 5–8. She is crate and potty trained. Opal has shown interest in chasing and playing with cats, so a home without cats or one experienced in careful introductions would be the best fit.
