Mateo is a handsome Siberian Husky with stunning blue eyes and a gentle soul. At approximately 3-4 years old and around 70 pounds, he's the perfect combination of beauty and companionship.

His foster describes him as an absolute dream dog. Mateo is well-mannered, easygoing, and enjoys being close to his people. He knows commands such as sit, shake, and come, and he walks nicely on leash. He's respectful of his belongings, does well in his kennel, and has shown no food aggression around other dogs.

Mateo gets along well with other dogs and tends to be calm and neutral when meeting new canine friends. While he enjoys the company of other dogs, he is also the type of dog who would thrive as a beloved companion for someone who works from home, is retired, or simply wants a loyal best friend by their side.

Before adoption, all Boxers and Buddies dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date with age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped. All dogs are fostered in a foster home where they are treated like family - practicing socialization skills.

After submitting an application, our team will contact you within 24 hours. The adoption process includes an interview, home check, and meet-and-greet. All household dogs must attend the meet-and-greet. Renters must provide proof that dogs are permitted by their lease, and adopters are required to complete a training course with a certified positive reinforcement trainer.We require professional obedience training from a certified trainer for ALL adoptions.
