Shaggydog and his siblings were surrendered to the rescue by a local family after they had an oops litter. Mom was a 50lb Husky and Dad was a 95lb German Shepherd.

Shaggydog likes to take his time exploring new sights, sounds, and experiences, carefully checking things out before deciding they're worth investigating. Once he feels comfortable, his sweet personality shines, and he's happy to stay close to his people for affection and companionship.

Smart, thoughtful, and eager to learn, Shaggydog is thriving in foster care as he continues building confidence every day. He's looking for a patient, active family who will let him explore the world at his own pace, celebrate his progress, and enjoy having a loyal companion by their side.
