Bettee - Shih Tzu Dog for Adoption in Union Grove, Wisconsin

Hi everyone!

It's me, Bettee! I just celebrated a wonderful birthday and am now 5 years old.

I arrived at Tiny Paws Small Dog Rescue with a lot of other scared dog friends. I am feeling much safer now and have learned a lot. I still need some practice walking on a leash, and going down stairs makes me nervous, though I can run up them really fast. My foster mom is helping me get used to going down steps with gentle training. I also know how to use a doggy door. If your home doesn't have one, I will need a strict schedule for potty breaks outside since I am still learning what is expected of me.

I love my foster mom and all the dog friends here. I even met a cat, but he doesn't like me, so I leave him alone. I also live with a 6-week-old puppy and am very patient with them, though I prefer to be left alone when I have a toy.

I am current on my vaccinations and scheduled for my spay surgery on August 24, 2026.

I am looking for a forever family that I will never have to leave. I have not met any children yet, but I think I would do well with them if they are gentle and kind.
