Jerry was found as a stray, and were pretty sure he once belonged to someone. He wasn't microchipped, though, and unfortunately no one has come looking for him. Our best guess is that Jerry is around 2 years old. He appears to be a Shih Tzu/terrier mix, is fully grown, and weighs less than 10 pounds.
Jerry has a beautiful blonde coat, but his current photos really don't do him justice. Hell be groomed, vaccinated, and neutered before adoption, and we expect this little guy to be quite the handsome fellow once he gets his makeover.
Jerry is a true lapdog who would love a home with someone who is home most of the time. His ideal person understands that a tiny dog can have very serious opinions about being separated from their favorite human. Hell need to live indoors and will require regular brushing and professional grooming.
He is currently thriving with his foster parents and their pack of similarly sized dogs. Jerry is making good progress with his house training, but his adopter will need to continue working with him as he learns his new routine.
If you're looking for a pint-sized companion who wants nothing more than to be your shadow and curl up in your lap, Jerry may be your guy.
