Blondie - Shih Tzu and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Severance, Colorado

Blondie is a sweet, sensitive girl who is settling into foster life one day at a time. She arrived just a few days ago, and every day she becomes a little more comfortable, a little more curious, and lets a little more of her personality shine. She’s been a wonderful house guest.

One thing Blondie figured out right away? The best spots in the house. She immediately claimed her place on the couch and has happily shown us all of her favorite cozy hangouts. Once she’s settled in beside her people, she relaxes quickly and is perfectly content just being near them. At night, she’s happiest sharing the bed with her human, where she settles in just as easily.

She loves spending time outside taking in all the sights, sounds, and sniffs at her own pace. She loves to explore the yard and is a very busy girl out there. Blondie also happily naps in her crate when she wants some quiet time and has proven to be a wonderful office companion, calmly resting nearby while you work. She was a wonderful passenger in the car, has been neutral and respectful with the resident dogs, and is crate-trained and house-trained.

Although she’s shy when meeting new people and adjusting to new environments, Blondie has already shown us how gentle and loving she is.

Blondie is looking for a family who will give her the time, patience, and love to continue settling in. Every day she grows a little more comfortable in her surroundings, and it’s been such a joy watching her trust build. We can’t wait to see her continue to blossom in a home of her own.
