Sage is a sweet little 1-year-old who weighs just 7 pounds, and she is learning what it feels like to be safe, loved, and cared for.

Sage came to us after experiencing significant neglect, but thankfully, those days are behind her. She is now on the mend and getting the care and attention she so deserves. We’re still getting to know this precious girl and watching her personality blossom as she becomes more comfortable.

At just 7 pounds, Sage may be tiny, but she has already shown us how resilient she is. We believe that with patience, kindness, and a loving family, she will continue to gain confidence and discover just how wonderful life can be.

Sage’s story is just beginning, and we can’t wait to watch her bloom.

Typically, an application and home visit (both of which are required for adoption) MUST be completed, BEFORE a potential adopter will be introduced to one of our pets, in order to first determine that our basic adoption requirements are met, prior to introductions being made. We also utilize personal reference and vet checks (to ensure that any pets already in the potential adoptive home are current on vaccines, heart worm prevention and sterilized) in our adoption process, all of which is intended to ensure that the best match, between pet and people, is made. The adoption fee is based on on the dog's age.
