Skittles - Shih Tzu and Airedale Terrier Dog for Adoption in Palm Harbor, Florida

Meet Skittles!
This adorable little guy is the newest puppy to join our rescue. Skittles is under a year old, weighs only 10 pounds and has the cutest long legs!
Skittles came to us as a stray with a badly matted coat, but after a much needed grooming, all those mats are gone and he’s ready for a fresh start.
Right now, Skittles is still learning that the world can be a safe place. He is very shy and unsure of new experiences, including walking on a leash and being in a crate. But hers where he shines he loves other dogs! Having a friendly confident canine companion would be a wonderful fit for him.
Skittles is looking for a special person or family who can give him patience, love and time he needs to build his confidence and learn how wonderful life in a home can be.
Because he isn’t comfortable with leash walks yet, a securely fenced yard would be best so he has a safe place to explore and play while he learns.
Sometimes the dogs who need use the most become the ones who love us the hardest. If you’re willing to give skittles the chance he deserves we’d love to hear from you. Please fill out an adoption application from our website link to schedule a meet and greet.
