Hi there... my name is Gizmo, and I’m looking for a soft place to land. 💛

I’m an 8-year-old Shih Tzu mix, tiny enough to fit just about anywhere — I’m under 10 pounds! I can be a little shy and nervous when we first meet, but if you give me a little patience and kindness, I warm up and become a sweet little companion.

I get along well with other dogs and would love a calm home where I can feel safe and loved. My hair was pretty matted when I was rescued, so right now I’m rocking a short haircut... but underneath it all I’m a beautiful ginger girl and my fluffy coat will grow back gorgeous in no time.

I do have dry eye, so I’ll need eye drops to help keep me comfortable. I’m a simple girl otherwise — cozy beds, gentle people, and little walks sound perfect to me.
