Meet Onyx!

Onyx is the sweetest 5-year-old Shih Tzu boy with such a gentle, easygoing personality. He’s already house trained, crate trained, and incredibly well-mannered—this little guy is the total package!

Amazing with other dogs: Onyx is super friendly, submissive, and very respectful of other dogs’ space. He has an incredibly patient temperament—even with another dog barking right in his face, Onyx doesn’t react or make a peep back. He simply ignores them and goes about his business. He’s such a calm, tolerant little guy who wants absolutely no part of the drama.

Crate trained: He genuinely LOVES his crate! At bedtime, he’ll happily put himself to sleep in it all on his own. His crate is clearly his little safe and cozy space. But once he'd rather be out next to his human he'll let you know.

Loves his walks: The second Onyx realizes it’s time for a walk, his playful side comes out! He gets SO excited and starts doing the cutest little spins while he waits to go. It’s impossible not to smile watching how happy he gets!

Absolutely loves people: Onyx is such a trusting, affectionate little guy. He’s perfectly comfortable being picked up and is an absolute sweetheart for grooming, too. He handled a bath and having the mats gently brushed out of his ears like a champ.

Onyx is just a gentle, loving, go-with-the-flow little soul who seems happy to be wherever his people are. He has the kind of temperament that makes him so easy to fall in love with.
