Matt - Shih Tzu and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Indianapolis, Indiana

Hi, I'm Matt!

If you're looking for a best friend, I just might be your guy! I'm a friendly, lovable boy who never meets a stranger. Whether it's greeting new people with a wagging tail, joining you for a walk around the neighborhood, or curling up beside you after a long day, I'm happiest when I'm spending time with my favorite humans.

I have a sweet personality and a gentle heart, and I love being part of whatever is going on. I'm always ready for some fun, whether that means playing with toys, exploring new places, or soaking up all the pets and attention you can give. One of my favorite things is making people smile, and I've got plenty of love to share.

What I'm really dreaming of is a family to call my own. A cozy spot to nap, adventures to enjoy together, and people who will love me as much as I'll love them. If you're looking for a loyal companion who's always happy to see you, come meet me. I can't wait to show you what a wonderful friend I can be!

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.

The Shih Tzu is a small, affectionate dog breed known for its distinctive appearance, with a luxurious double coat, a short muzzle, and large round eyes. Originally bred as companion dogs for Chinese royalty, Shih Tzus are friendly, outgoing, and loving pets. They are known for their playful and charming personality, making them great family pets and suitable for apartment living. With their low shedding coat and adorable face, Shih Tzus are popular among dog lovers worldwide.
