Meet Lolita — a purebred Shih Tzu with a story that started badly but is about to have a very happy ending. She was rescued from a terrible situation in Puerto Rico and is heading to her foster home in Lyndeborough, NH on May 22. She’ll be available for meets, greets, and adoption applications.

Now… about the pictures.
Are they glamorous? No.
Do they capture her full beauty? Also no.
Are they literally the only pictures we have right now? YES.

Apparently Lolita missed the memo about posing for professional rescue photos before boarding her freedom flight. We promise better pictures are coming once she settles in and realizes she is safe, loved, and no longer living the hard life.

But if you can see past the questionable photography skills, you’ll find a sweet purebred girl who deserves an amazing home.
