This sweet 8-year-old Shih Tzu is ready to trade his rough past for a lifetime of love.

When Baze arrived at our shelter, he was severely matted, uncomfortable, and dealing with irritated skin and eyes. The first thing we did was get this handsome boy groomed so he could finally feel comfortable again. He has also been examined by our veterinarian and is on the road to feeling his best!

Baze has been diagnosed with dry eye and will need Optimmune eye ointment to keep his eyes healthy and comfortable. We also believe he would benefit from a limited-ingredient diet to help support his sensitive skin.

Despite everything hes been through, Baze is a gentle little guy who deserves a family willing to give him the love and care hes always deserved. His medical needs are manageable, and in return youll gain a loyal companion who will be forever grateful.
