Hi, I'm Fred! I'm a 10-month-old chocolate Shih Tzu with a lot of growing up to do, and I'm looking for patient people to help me get there. I'm still learning my manners and leash skills, and I can be a little shy and nervous, so I'll need someone who's ready to work with me-teenagers and up, please. I'm good with other dogs and I've got the makings of an adventure buddy once I build my confidence! My adoption fee is $450, and I'll need regular grooming to keep my beautiful coat looking sharp. If you've got the time and heart to help me bloom, I'd love to meet you!

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The Shih Tzu is a small, affectionate dog breed known for its distinctive appearance, with a luxurious double coat, a short muzzle, and large round eyes. Originally bred as companion dogs for Chinese royalty, Shih Tzus are friendly, outgoing, and loving pets. They are known for their playful and charming personality, making them great family pets and suitable for apartment living. With their low shedding coat and adorable face, Shih Tzus are popular among dog lovers worldwide.
