Meet Yuri who is a cutie five year old Shih-tzu! Yuri has been very loved and cared for but his owners are heading to another state to live with their adult family as they are no longer as mobile as they used to be. Yuri is low key and enjoys the inside life to the fullest. He enjoys some outdoor time but then is quick to come back inside to soak up the air conditioning. He is puppy pee pad trained and will potty outside as well. Yuri is a love bug and enjoys human companionship first and foremost. The one thing that a potential adopter needs to be aware of is that he does take medicine for a platelet issue but he has been stable and fabulous for over two years. He doesn’t seem limited by this except for the fact that he can’t have a rabies vaccine as that may have been the catalyst that caused the platelet issue. The medicine manages the condition so you would never know it! Everyone wants a perfect dog…….and Yuri is perfect in so many ways so please consider him! This is what true rescue is about!
