Meet Gracie, a four-pound teddy bear with miniature legs, a gentle heart, and a suspicious amount of confidence around the big dogs food bowls. Born on April 11, 2026, Gracie was rescued from the commercial pet trade and arrived at PRAR unexpectedly. She wasted absolutely no time stealing every heart in her foster home. This silky-soft white-and-gold puppy is affectionate, mild-tempered, playful, and wonderfully relaxed. She loves following her people around, cuddling in their laps, and falling asleep on her back like a completely boneless little noodle. Gracie has been good with cats and dogs of all sizes, ages, and sexes. She enjoys wrestling with other dogs, running through her play tunnel, playing with small stuffed toys and tug ropes, and hunting for treats in enrichment toys. She is crate/pen trained, food motivated, comes when called, and is working hard on potty training. Gracie tries to potty outside and looks for a potty pad indoors, although she still has occasional puppy accidents. She sheds and has a low-to-moderate activity level. Her tiny legs are better suited to playtime and household toddling than serious hiking adventures. Gracie can cuddle with Olympic-level commitment but is also able to relax and nap on her own. She could fit beautifully into many different homes with adopters who will continue her puppy training and provide plenty of love, enrichment, and appropriately sized adventures.
