Jig has a sweet disposition and wants nothing more than a couch to nap on and a lap nearby for a loving touch. He has a soft, classic Shih Tzu coloring and a single blue eye.

He is easy to lift, bathe, brush and crate. Super compliant, but doesn’t yet know sit (but sploot is his favorite position). Doesn’t know come command (but being your shadow is natural to him).

This dog would be a great first dog for anyone, as his foster mom hasn’t identified any challenging behaviors. Whoever adopts him is winning the dog lottery!

Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.

Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
