Scout - Shih Tzu and Chihuahua Dog for Adoption in Crosby, Texas

Meet Scout.

Scout is a 7 week old Shih Tzu / Chihuahua mix. He is about 1lb and very sweet. He is very sweet and cuddly.

Scout is UTD on all vaccines, Micro-chipped, & UTD on Heartworm/Flea/Tick prevention.

His adoption fee is $400 that includes transport age-appropriate vaccines (DAPP with boosters, Bordetella, Rabies if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter *if old enough, flea & heart worm prevention while in our care, a microchip with free lifetime registration.

We facilitate adoptions across the US from Houston, Tx. which includes a health certificate by a licensed vet deeming the pup healthy for travel. Our pups travel in comfort with 24/7 care on licensed transport vehicles. This is included in our adoption fees.

Texas Animal Rescue Rehab is a foster-based rescue. All of our dogs live in loving foster homes while they are in our care—we are not a shelter or a boarding facility.

Because many of the dogs that enter our program come to us as strays or without a known history, their age and breed are often our best estimate based on our veterinary teams professional assessment.

All of our dogs are currently located in Texas. Once an adoption is finalized, we arrange licensed transport to the adopters state. (States the dogs are listed in on petfinder)

For the safety and well-being of our dogs, we are only able to transport dogs after the adoption has been completed. Since our dogs are cared for in foster homes, we are happy to offer FaceTime meet-and-greets so prospective adopters can interact with the dog and ask any questions before making their decision
