Peggy - Shih Tzu Dog for Adoption in Columbia, Missouri

Peggy is a sweet, gentle girl looking for a patient family to help her build confidence. She can be shy with new people and may flinch at sudden movements, but she's never shown any aggression. Once she feels safe, she loves gentle ear scratches and being close to her people.

She gets along great with both dogs and cats, and having another friendly dog around seems to help her feel more confident. Peggy is still working on potty training but does well in a crate and enjoys running around the backyard.

Peggy also has an abnormality with her right hind leg, likely from a birth defect or old injury, but it doesn't slow her down or seem to bother her.
