DESCRIPTION
Pappy was found as a stray in Milwaukee. He was so matted he had to be completely shaved. He also required the removal of one eye and he's now a member of ALIVE Rescue's wink club.
He's currently living in a foster home with dogs and cats and does well with both. He loves being held and carried. He has to be close to his people and will follow his humans around the house. He's great in the care and in his crate when his foster parents are away. He also is a BIG time snuggle bug.
Pappy is recovered from surgery and is ready to find his forever.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The Shih Tzu is a small, affectionate dog breed known for its distinctive appearance, with a luxurious double coat, a short muzzle, and large round eyes. Originally bred as companion dogs for Chinese royalty, Shih Tzus are friendly, outgoing, and loving pets. They are known for their playful and charming personality, making them great family pets and suitable for apartment living. With their low shedding coat and adorable face, Shih Tzus are popular among dog lovers worldwide.
