***CONTACT FOSTER THE ADOPTION IS BEING DONE THROUGH THEM***
Charlie came to at no fault of his own. His owner had to move to a nursing home so it was necessary for him to be placed in Foster. Shirley is a 2-year-old teddy bear Shih Tzu (combination of a Shih Tzu x Bichon). He is being updated on vaccines because nobody could track down anything for him along with being dewormed, tested for parvo, Giardia, just temper and heartworm. Charlie will be microchipped upon adoption. Our vet is booked out into December for surgeries regarding neuter. Charlie will go out with a sterilization agreement, that can be explained by the foster. If you inquire. This agreement is only in effect if Charlie hasn't been fixed prior to adoption.
Charlie is no shed but he does require grooming trips to be trimmed down and dolled up. Charlie's been hanging out at his foster parents home with other dogs and cats and he's been doing wonderful with both. We are working on housebreaking. We initially were told he is housebroken but we have had a couple of accidents. He is using a pee pad as well as he will give cues like he wants to go outside and every time he asks we do bring him out. Sometimes he does his business and other times he doesn't. Charlie would be fine around children that are probably 10 years old or older.
If you have inquiries or have interest in doing a meet and greet with Charlie, please contact the Foster either by calling or texting (218)640-1930 or (218)371 -1212
