Stitch - Shih Tzu and Maltese Dog for Adoption in Bedford, New Hampshire

Stitch is a funny boy with a lot of goofy personality. He takes a bit of time to warm up, but once he's your friend he is stoked to see you!

Stitch tends to be a bit wary of strangers, so he needs an adopter who is willing to meet him a few times until he is comfortable. He is initially very wary of petting, until he understands your intentions are friendly.

Since he is wary of petting initially and needs time to understand that he is safe, he should not go home with children.

He has met a dog of similar size here, and was a bit nervous but we think he may be open to going home with another dog (given a successful meeting at the shelter).
