**Meet Munchkin!**

Munchkin is with us through no fault of his own after the heartbreaking loss of his owner. He has been a little shy while adjusting to all the changes in his life, but underneath that uncertainty is a sweet, loving companion who enjoys being close to his people.

Munchkin loves being picked up, does well in the car, and already knows **sit, stay, and come**. He has a positive history with children and is tolerant of handling, making him a wonderful family companion. He also gets along great with other small dogs, though larger dogs can make him a bit nervous.
When meeting new people, Munchkin may bark for a minute or two while he figures them out, but he quickly warms up and wants to be close to them. He does well at the groomer,
is **potty pad trained**, and would do best with **open confinement** when left alone, as crating can be stressful and he may get into a little mischief if left for long periods.

This sweet little guy is looking for a loving home to help him heal and start his next chapter surrounded by kindness and companionship.
