Shih Tzu and Cairn Terrier Dogs Available for Adoption in Portland, Oregon

Meet Snickers! This sweet two and a half year old 26 pound pup is searching for his forever family in the PNW. Originally from Texas this playful boy has been in foster care in Portland for a week and is thriving already with his new foster family. He cannot wait to find his new family just in time for summer!
Snickers was surrendered to a shelter in Amarillo, Texas in December 2025 then moved to a foster home in Texas in January 2026. In his foster home he was house trained and learned how to walk on a leash. Then a few months later in April Snickers made his way to Portland, Oregon to his new foster home. Once arriving he quickly became friends with his foster siblings and is adjusting well to the Oregon weather. Snickers is a playful pup who loves to fetch and play with squeaky toys. He is the perfect travel companion and loves to go on long walks with his family. Snickers is very friendly with new people and loves to cuddle on the couch for a night of netflix and snacks.
Snickers is kid friendly and great with other dogs, he loves to engage in play time and has the cutest zoomies before dinner every night. He really is a great addition to any family and cannot wait to start forming new lifelong memories with his furever family.
Snickers is avaible for adoption anywhere in the PNW and is ready for meet and greets in Portland anytime.

Snickers adoption fee is $300 this helps us cover his food, medical needs, and travel costs. All our dogs are up to date on vaccines, spayed and neutered, and tested for major diseases.
