Shih Poo Dogs Available for Adoption

Meet the Easter Basket Babies — Lil Lamb, Thumper, Peep and Hopper! These unbelievably adorable Shih Tzu/Poodle mix babies are as sweet as a basket full of candy and twice as cute. These nine week old fluffballs are cuddly, curious and just a little bit mischievous. One minute they’re bouncing around like tiny cotton balls chasing toys and the next they’re piled up together for a nap. These boys and girls are still babies so they’re learning all the important puppy things — potty training, leash-walking and that shoelaces are not toys! Their future families should be ready for the usual puppy shenanigans and chaos including lots of playtime, tons of snuggles and plenty of patience while they grow. Both Shih Tzus and Poodles are known for their loving, people-oriented personalities and these little ones are already proving they were born to be family companions. They’ll do best in homes ready to give them lots of attention, continued training and regular grooming to keep those fluffy coats looking fabulous. Due to their small size, these tiny tots cannot go to homes with children under the age of eight. They also cannot share communal potty areas in apartments/condos because they have not completed their puppy vaccination series yet.

SOHFGA is not a shelter. All of our animals are in foster homes and we schedule adoptions by appointment with approved applicants. Please note, this is not the same as the inquiry form on the Petfinder website. Yes, we do allow out of state adoptions but no, we do not transport. If your application is approved you would need to make plans to travel here in person this week to bring your puppy home.

Each puppy is fully vetted -- neutered/spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations and deworming. The adoption fee is $300. We accept payment in the form of cash, CashApp and Zelle. You can apply to adopt at https://sohfga.com/dog-adoption-application/.
