Aptly named for her demure good looks and luxurious coat that's soft like fine woven French *chantilly lace*, please meet Lacey! Isn't she gorgeous! A designer girl of her very own making! She has been vetted, spayed, and microchipped and is ready to make her way home to you! Please read on for her story and for instructions on how to request an application for this very special girl!
Here's what we know about LACEY:
- Lacey is @ 2 years old, and tips the scales at her full grown weight just shy of 20lbs. She will not get any bigger.
- We believe Lacey is either a shih-poo, lhasa-poo, or perhaps even a combination of all three breeds! She has a wonderful personality and is a lot of dog in a little package!
- Lacey was found as a stray by animal control and was never reclaimed. Since then, she has been thriving in rescue and living her best doggy life. It's now time for her to embark on her journey to her forever home where she can be the queen of her castle and enjoys just being by your side each day.
- Lacey is also what we call a plug and play girlie - she's well mannered, fully house trained and uses a doggy door, walks great on a leash, and easily loads right up into the car. She loves going for car rides!
- Lacey might be on the smaller side, but she loves to go for her walks and gets very excited when she sees foster mom take the leash out. She also enjoys playing fetch and is happy to accompany you on any adventures.
- Lacey is 20lbs, but could still be seen as prey for certain wildlife out there. Her perfect home would either have small breed experience and/or understand that Lacey will need supervision at all times while outside to ensure her safety. A fenced in yard would be a plus too!
- Lacey gets along with other dogs without issue, but we really think she would love to be an *only pup* in her new home where she can be doted on and receive all of her new family's love and attention.
- We are not sure how she is with cats, but if the cat in her future home is dog savvy, she should do just fine!
- While we are unsure about Lacey's earlier life, we think she would do very well with kids 5+ who know how to respect doggy boundaries and would enjoy playing with her and spending time with her. She would be the perfect dog for visiting grandkids!
- Lacey has a beautiful long haired coat that will need consistent brushing and regular grooming every 3 months or so to keep it in pristine condition and prevent any tangles or mats. Her new family should have a groomer established in time for her homecoming so she always looks beauty parlor ready!
- Lacey is a great girl who would do very well with someone retired or home the majority of the time as she isn't demanding of constant attention but she does love to by be your side.
