Rita - Shiba Inu Dog for Adoption in Toms River, New Jersey

Rita is available For Adoption here at Shiba Rescue of New Jersey.
Rita is a very sweet 6 year old Red female Shiba who is spayed and up to date on vaccines.
She arrived into our Rescue on Aug. 19th and is being fostered in Quakertown, PA by Jonathan B.
Rita is good around other dogs and cats. We were told that Rita was used for breeding (Puppy Mill) and we were asked for help by the shelter located in upstate NY.
So of course, we "Rescued" Rita.

"Meet Rita, a sweet 6-year-old red Shiba Inu with a gentle soul and an irresistible little smile. Rita doesn’t see very well, but she doesn’t let that stop her from enjoying the things she loves most—relaxing by your side, playing tug of war, and getting plenty of snuggles. She’s wonderfully calm and easygoing (great with cats, other dogs, and older kids) and would be happiest in a quiet, loving home where she can feel safe, comfortable, and cherished.
Because of her limited vision, we would recommend Rita to be in a home with a single floor or very few steps.
If you’re looking for a loyal, cuddly companion who will happily make your lap her favorite place, Rita may be your perfect match. "
