DESCRIPTION
Hi I'm Ollie! I'm an 8 year old Shiba Inu mix and around 35lbs. I was surrendered to the Pet Association of Estes Park about a year and had found a home to take me in. Unfortunately, I need a fenced in backyard and owners with experience with the breed. I do well with other dogs and likely cats too. I'm a protective boy, which is common for Shiba Inu's, so I would be best in a home without kids. I'm a laid-back boy that likes to snuggle up on the couch. I walk well on a leash, am housetrained, and am quiet in my kennel. I am the perfect size and energy level. I would do well in most any home. Come meet me!
ABOUT: SHIBA INU DOG BREED
The Shiba Inu is a small to medium sized dog breed known for its fox like appearance, with a curled tail and upright ears. Originating from Japan, Shiba Inus are independent, alert, and spirited dogs. They are loyal to their families but can be reserved around strangers. Recognized for their bold and confident nature, Shiba Inus require consistent training and socialization to thrive. With a thick double coat and a distinct red, sesame, or black and tan coloration, Shiba Inus are charming companions for active individuals or families.
