DESCRIPTION
?? Hi, I’m Sosa—and my whole life is ahead of me!
I’m a 3-month-old Shepherd mix who arrived at the shelter with my mama on September 20, 2026, after we were found running loose as strays. That’s how my shelter story began, but I’m hoping the next chapter starts with you!
I’ve started my vaccinations and other medical care, and now I’m looking for a forever family to help me grow up. Since I’m still a puppy, I’ll need patience, guidance, and someone willing to teach me all the things a wonderful family dog needs to know.
My dream home has room for me to run and play—and a spot inside with my family, where I can be part of the pack. I don’t just want a place to stay; I want a place to belong. Children to grow up alongside would be a bonus, but they aren’t a requirement. Having a family committed to loving and raising me is what matters most. ??
Please ask the shelter staff about meeting me and for the latest updates on my medical care.
I’m just getting started in this big world. Could we grow into a family together? ??
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The shepherd dog breed encompasses a versatile group known for their intelligence, loyalty, and strong work ethic. With a heritage deeply rooted in herding and protecting livestock, shepherds excel at various tasks ranging from obedience and agility competitions to search and rescue missions. Their protective nature makes them excellent family pets, offering unwavering devotion and a natural instinct to watch over and care for their loved ones. In addition to their remarkable abilities, shepherds are often characterized by their distinctive appearance, including a sturdy build, alert expression, and a signature double coat that provides insulation and protection in various climates.
