Weaverville, California

female, large, young
DESCRIPTION
Meet Eddi! She is believed to be a shepherd type and is about 6 months old. She also goes by the nickname 'chupi' because she looked a bit like an adorable chupacabra when she arrived. These days she has upgraded to looking more like a hyena but is still adorable.
Eddi was found suffering from mange and has been getting great care from shelter staff under the direction of a vet. She acts like a whole different pup now that she feels better but her hair is still recovering. From some of our special mange alumni who came before her (she is named after one), we know that her fur may never be quite 'normal'. But! With her being so young it should get close! This kiddo is super smart too and was already picking up 'sit' with a little milkbone encouragement.
Come meet her and take a few minutes in the puppy yard to hang out any day we are open, T, Th, F, Sa from 12-4. To reach shelter staff with any questions please call 530-623-1370 option 1.
