Meet Marigold!

Some dogs leave paw prints on your heart the moment you meet them. Marigold is one of those dogs.

This beautiful 2-year-old Shepherd mix was found wandering the streets of Tennesseestarving, pregnant, and all alone. Despite everything shed been through, she never lost her gentle spirit. She made the journey north, safely raised her puppies, and now its finally her turn to be loved.

At about 80 pounds, Marigold is a true gentle giant. She is underweight from scavenging for food and having a litter of puppies and is expected to reach around 90 pounds once shes finished nursing and can focus on herself.

Marigold is wonderful with dogs, cats, and children. Shes potty trained, knows basic commands, has excellent recall, and has a calm, low-to-medium energy level. She loves to cuddle, quietly follows her people from room to room, and is happiest simply being near the ones she loves.

Theres something special about Marigold. Maybe its her soulful eyes, her quiet confidence, or the way she makes everyone around her feel at ease. Whatever it is, shes the kind of dog who doesnt just fit into a familyshe becomes the heart of it.
