Ok - it’s time to show up for Bonnie. Bonnie has been with us for months after she was rescued with her buddy, Ted, and their three pups from a hoarding situation. Poor Bonnie was skin and bones. She had been fighting for survival with keeping her puppies alive in such an awful situation. All of her nutrition and care was being given to her puppies leaving herself with nothing. When she came - she was literally a shell of a dog. Not only was she skinny, she was heartworm positive, which isn’t surprising based on her background.
Fast forward to now.... Bonnie is happy and healthy. She has gone through heartworm treatment and is ready to find her forever home. Let me tell you a little about her -
Bonnie is three years old and is the easiest dog you can ever imagine having. She doesn’t require much except a soft bed and some love. Bonnie would love a home with another dog just for comfort and confidence. She isn’t a player - she is more of a lounger. She is amazing with all dogs, cats and kids. Bonnie is a quiet presence that you love having because she is calm and appreciative. She’s a dog you didn’t know you needed and brings a smile to your face by knowing that she is content and happy. She is a great alert dog as she will let you know if a stranger is in the yard, etc. She has zero bad habits, doesn’t need a lot of exercise and again, is easy, easy, easy!
PLEASE help us find a home for Bonnie. After all that she has been through, she deserves the best.
