Meet Stormie - Splash-Seeking Scholar!

Stormie is a young, sweet, and silly Shepherd mix who is always down to have some fun! Whip-smart and eager to please, Stormie is an excellent student who loves learning new things and showing off her skills. When she's not busy training, she's happy to kick back and soak up a good belly rub.

Stormie absolutely adores water and will splash around in a plastic baby pool, the Fox River, or even a puddle (because who doesn't love a good puddle?!). As a youngster, she benefits from fun play sessions with other dogs and enjoys a rough-and-tumble wrestling match. She's still working on her play manners and prefers to keep her food and treats to herself, though she's happy to share toys.

Stormie enjoys a spirited game of tug and would much rather interact with her people than fuss with a toy box. Beneath her adventurous, goofy exterior is a tender-hearted girl who can be a bit sensitive and is still building confidence in the big world around her. With patience, encouragement, and plenty of love, Stormie will continue to blossom into an amazing companion. If you're looking for a smart, affectionate, water-loving sidekick, Stormie may be the perfect match!

Our dogs and puppies go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (7 months and over), and up to date on core vaccines, heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians.
