This energetic, driven boy lives to be challenged both physically and mentally, and the highlight of his day is getting to show off all his tricks. He’s professionally trained and can learn just about anything (even math problems). Briggs knows sit, down, roll over, leave it, play dead, speak...you name it, he can do it!

Briggs has never met a ball or rope toy he didn’t love, and his favorite thing in the world is playing with his people. He also loves going for walks and hikes, solving puzzles, and soliciting belly rubs when the day is done. He has both brains and brawn!

An adult-only home or one with older children would be ideal for Briggs. He thrives with an experienced, confident leader who can provide the structure he needs and continue building on his training. Give him that, and he will return the love tenfold.

When it comes to dog friends, he does best with tolerant female dogs who are comfortable with his upbeat play style. He may also be successful with a calm, non-dominant male after slow introductions.

Briggs has a simple routine related to a previous surgery. Because he can't hold his bladder for long periods, he does best with more frequent trips outside throughout the day. After all, he’s an outdoorsman at heart!
