Zo - Shepherd and Black Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Sarasota, Florida

Zo is a beautiful German Shepherd/Lab mix looking for an experienced home. She's incredibly intelligent and forms deep bonds with her people, showing her sweet and playful personality once she feels comfortable.

Zo can be wary of strangers and will need time to warm up to new people. She isn't the type of dog who instantly loves everyone she meets, so her future family should be comfortable advocating for her and allowing introductions to go at her pace. She is also dog selective but has successfully lived and interacted with other dogs when introduced properly. Zo can be possessive of toys around other dogs, so toy management and supervised interactions are important.

Zo is very smart and comes with an excellent foundation. She's overall good on leash, knows her basic obedience, is crate trained, potty trained, and enjoys having structure and clear expectations. She also has regular grooming needs to keep her coat healthy and happy. She would do best with an experienced adopter who can provide consistent leadership and continue building her confidence.

If you're looking for a loyal best friend who's as clever as she is lovable, Zo is ready to find her perfect match.
