Trip is a 2-year-old, 45-pound sweetheart with a gentle heart who is searching for a patient, understanding family.

Trip is naturally timid around new people, but he's also curious and wants to make friends. With a little time, kindness, and patience, he begins to come out of his shell and show his sweet personality.

He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and having a confident canine companion helps him feel safe and adjust more quickly to new surroundings. For that reason, we'd love to see Trip join a home with another friendly dog.

Trip shares a special bond with his best friend, Cash, and while they don't have to be adopted together, it would be a dream come true if someone opened their heart to both of them.
