DESCRIPTION
Hewo der! My name is Zest! I am a male husky-shepard mix born on February 21, 2026. I am still a small puppy but expect to grow to be about 30-40 pounds. I am not yet fully vaccinated or neutered because I am so young but I am working on it! I was found on the street with my mom and ten other siblings. My mom kept moving us around to find food. We are so lucky to have been rescued by the Cantu Foundation and now I get to search for my furever home!
Here's why I am amazing:
I'm A Puppy With Lots To Learn!: I am pee pad trained. But because I am still so young, I am not yet crate-trained and do not have leash training but I'm so excited to learn! And I can't wait for YOU to teach me.
A "Zest" For Life: I love all other doggos and I get along well with little hoomans. I am not sure how I am with cats because I have not experienced them yet but I am sure I'd love them too! I am very cuddly, affectionate, playful, and energetic. I bring full, fun puppy energy! I am also very independent and social. I LOVE to be picked up. I also adore cuddles and scratches! Playing with my brother is one of my favorite activities.
A Little Nervous: I am very anxious and have separation anxiety. I bark and scratch when I am left alone for longer than 10 minutes. It's because I miss my hooman! I just get a little attached. But it means that I have a lot of love to offer.
My foster family describes me as loving, playful, and goofy.
What's my dream home?
I am a puppy who is learning and will grow with my forever family! I would appreciate a doggo buddy and a yard, but all I really need is love and attention. I cannot wait to meet you!
My adoption fee is $550. This fee covers my first year of vaccinations, neuter, and microchip. Think we'd be a perfect pair? Apply to adopt me at www.thecantufoundation.org/adopt.html
