Chavo is truly such a gem! Even at only a year old, he's incredibly calm, gentle, and well-mannered. When a volunteer approached his kennel, he was curled up quietly in his bed just watching patiently. The second the kennel door opened, he calmly came over, ready to head outside. He walks nicely on leash, knows "sit," and loves treats. He even offers his paw when he really wants a snack... though apparently only on his terms

What really stands out about Chavo is how affectionate and easygoing he is. The moment he was pet, he leaned his whole body in and completely relaxed. He never jumped up, wasn't overly rambunctious, and did wonderfully meeting another male dog. He's the kind of dog who feels easy right away. Calm, loving, polite... just a genuinely good boy!
