DESCRIPTION
Finn is ready to grab his best friend and head off to very distant lands, hopefully straight to his forever home!
Finn is a six-month-old Shepherd mix weighing 35 pounds, with a sweet, snuggly personality and a heart made for adventure. He can be a little timid when meeting new people, but once he knows you're a friend, hell happily become your loyal sidekick. Finn loves being with his people and is ready to join you for anything, whether its an adventure, a walk, or a cozy afternoon on the couch.
He gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and ages and is making great progress with house and crate training. Like any puppy, he's still working on his basic manners and leash skills, so he would benefit from an experienced owner who can continue his training and socialization.
Finn can also be a bit vocal during playtime or when he's looking for attention, so hell do best in a home without shared walls.
If you've been searching the Land of Ooo for a sweet, loyal adventure buddy, Finn might just be the mathematical addition your family needs! His minimum adoption fee is $325 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.
He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The shepherd dog breed encompasses a versatile group known for their intelligence, loyalty, and strong work ethic. With a heritage deeply rooted in herding and protecting livestock, shepherds excel at various tasks ranging from obedience and agility competitions to search and rescue missions. Their protective nature makes them excellent family pets, offering unwavering devotion and a natural instinct to watch over and care for their loved ones. In addition to their remarkable abilities, shepherds are often characterized by their distinctive appearance, including a sturdy build, alert expression, and a signature double coat that provides insulation and protection in various climates.
