Ralph is both Ehrlichia positive and heartworm positive, but don't let those diagnoses overshadow what an incredible dog he is. Ehrlichia is a tick-borne disease that is often treatable with appropriate veterinary care, and Ralph already has a heartworm treatment plan in place. Our team will happily walk his adopter through every step of his care, and with proper treatment and follow-up, many heartworm-positive dogs go on to live long, happy, healthy lives.
