DESCRIPTION
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Bonnie and as you can see by my pictures, I'm a young 5-6 mo. old shepherd mix. Not only am I really pretty, but I love to have fun too! It's been hot outside recently and one of my favorite things to do is to cool off in the small pool of water my siblings and I have. We like chasing each other around playing tag, and I also love to chase the ball - especially my favorite hard rubber glow-in-the-dark ball. I'm still shy around that leash thing people like to attach to me, but I just need some more work on it, and I should have that down as I'm also told I am smart. Potty training? Psshht, I got that for the most part. Anyway, I would love to meet you and hopefully find a forever home! I know it says that I am not yet spayed, but I'm told that will happen very soon. My adoption donation includes that, a microchip, deworming, and all age-appropriate shots to date. To meet me, just fill out one of those adoption applications! Hope to see you soon!
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The shepherd dog breed encompasses a versatile group known for their intelligence, loyalty, and strong work ethic. With a heritage deeply rooted in herding and protecting livestock, shepherds excel at various tasks ranging from obedience and agility competitions to search and rescue missions. Their protective nature makes them excellent family pets, offering unwavering devotion and a natural instinct to watch over and care for their loved ones. In addition to their remarkable abilities, shepherds are often characterized by their distinctive appearance, including a sturdy build, alert expression, and a signature double coat that provides insulation and protection in various climates.
