Roxy is absolutely stunning: a long, graceful face, a sleek black coat that shines like a panther, and the most incredible mismatched eyes: one rich chocolate brown and the other a beautiful ocean blue.

She is elegant, graceful, and gorgeous.

And yes, she looks ridiculously good in a purple tutu.

This girl is sweet, affectionate, playful, and loving. She loves being close to her people and is always happy to settle in for pets and cuddles.

Roxy loves toys. She loves playing with other dogs. She loves kids and happily joins in the fun.

She came from a horrific life in Skid Row, but despite her past, she is trying so hard and learning how to live in a home. She is doing wonderfully well.

She is proving to be a pretty fantastic housemate.

Roxy sleeps beautifully in her crate at night, walks wonderfully on leash without pulling, and can be left alone for several hours without a problem.

She is naturally alert and aware of what is happening around her, as you might expect from a shepherd girl, yet remains affectionate and connected to her people.

At just around 1.5 years old and 50 pounds, Roxy is at such a wonderful age.

She is young enough for adventures, long walks, playdates, and a lifetime of memories ahead of her—but she is already showing what a lovely companion she can be.
