Lady is about a year old, around 50 pounds, and appears to be a German Shepherd mixthough honestly, we're not entirely convinced she isn't part satellite dish.

Seriously. Have you seen those ears?

Lady has the kind of face that makes people smile immediately. Sweet eyes, giant ears, and a gentle expression that somehow manages to look both curious and polite at the same time.

Shes a friendly, affectionate girl who genuinely loves people. New humans? Great. Kids? Great. Being included in whatever you're doing? Also great. Lady likes to be part of the family and approaches life with a happy, easygoing attitude.

She can be a little cautious when she's somewhere new, but she's the type of dog who takes a quick look around, decides everything is fine, and gets right back to making friends.

And speaking of friends...

Lady absolutely LOVES other dogs.

Not in a casual "yeah, dogs are okay" kind of way.

In a "where are my friends and why aren't we playing right now?" kind of way.

She thrives with canine companionship and would be happiest in a home with another friendly dog. Wrestling, chasing, playing, lounging togetherLady is fully committed to the dog friendship lifestyle.

She's also wonderfully easy to live with. Potty trained. Crate trained. Walks nicely on leash. Responsive, eager to please, and the kind of dog that genuinely wants to get things right.

Energy-wise, Lady lands in that sweet middle ground. She's happy to go for walks, play in the yard, and have fun, but she's not looking to run a marathon before breakfast. She's active enough to join your adventures and relaxed enough to enjoy a lazy afternoon afterward.

Lady is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm and is doing wonderfully. She doesn't let it slow down her mission of making friends and collecting affection wherever she goes.

She's sweet, social, easygoing, and impossible not to love.

Basically, if your dream dog is a loyal best friend with oversized ears and a heart to match, Lady may already be waiting for you.

Lady is currently being fostered in Texas and will be transported to the perfect forever home by our rescue! We have transports departing each week!
