Evie Jo was found all alone outdoors at just 5–6 weeks old, missing out on the comfort and guidance every puppy deserves. Because of her rough start, she came into foster care fearful and unsure of people. But with patience, love, and stability, Evie Jo has begun to blossom.
She now adores her foster family and has especially thrived with the help of her big foster sister dog, who has shown her how wonderful life can be. Evie Jo is playful, smart, and full of puppy spirit, with so much potential still unfolding.
Evie Jo is looking for a special home that understands she is still learning. She will do best with an experienced adopter who is home more often than not, committed to training, and comfortable guiding a strong-willed intelligent puppy. Because young children make her nervous, an adult-only or older-kid home would be best.
Her dream match would include a calm, confident, dog-savvy canine companion who enjoys other dogs and can continue helping her build confidence.
Evie Jo may need a little extra understanding, but for the right family, she will be an incredibly rewarding best friend.
