- Knows where his foster family keeps his leash and gets so excited when he sees them going to get it
- Does well when allowed to roam his foster family's bedroom overnight
- Stays in his kennel while his foster family is away from home
- Prefers to have a person with him when he goes outside
- Has loved spending time with other dogs in his foster home and looks to the other dog in the home to learn what to do
- Has done well when he sees other dogs on walks
The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
