Matilda - Shepherd Dog for Adoption in Conroe, Texas

Meet Matilda—Tilly for short!

Tilly is an outgoing, goofy, playful puppy looking for a family of her own. She loves stuffed toys, belly rubs, and playing with other dogs. After she’s worn herself out, she’s ready to settle down and snuggle!

Her estimated birthday is June 9, 2026. She currently weighs about 30 pounds and may reach around 50 pounds as an adult. We’re guessing she could be a Shepherd/Beagle mix based on her appearance, but her breed is unknown.

Tilly is potty trained, kennel trained, and does well with kennel time. She walks nicely on a leash, is treat motivated, and learns quickly. She knows “sit” and is working on “down” and “stay.” Puppy nipping has mostly faded, she’s doing well with not jumping up, and she hasn’t been chewing things up in her foster home.

She’s good with dogs and would do best with a confident, compatible playmate who can let her know when it’s time for a break, along with supervision during play. She does fine with cats, though her enthusiasm may be a little much for some!

Tilly is good with children, but a home with kids ages 3 and older may be a better fit because of her size and puppy energy. She needs to live indoors with her family and have a fenced yard for playtime.

She is vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.

If you’re looking for a smart, fun-loving girl who enjoys both adventures and snuggles, Tilly could be your perfect match!
