Meet Venus! This gorgeous 6 year old shepherd mix came to us from a rural shelter after she was found as a stray. Besides her beautiful coat, Venus is as sweet as they come. She is a submissive, loving girl who gets along with other dogs and walks well on a leash. Venus is a bit shy at first, but she melts into your arms and loves to be loved. She has spent time in foster, becoming besties with other dogs, cats, and even horses! Here's what her foster had to say:
"Venus is a really smart, sweet girl. She does great with my cats now that she's settled, and loves my dogs. She seems housetrained and does well in her crate. She is a bit of a fence-climber, but I think she's just adventurous and independent. She's loyal to a fault and really eager. She's gonna be such a cool, amazing family dog."
