Kids. Dogs.
We need Stan to live forever.
Not because science has figured that out yet, but because the world simply needs more time with hearts like his.
Two years old. 67 pounds. A beautifully assembled mutt with the gentlest, kindest, most magically made heart.
Stan is a family dog.
An adventure dog.
A silly, loving, smart, gorgeous, soulful best friend.
A deep, soulful, ridiculously smart big boy who somehow moves through life like Gumby, all long limbs and glorious wiggles, completely unaware of how spectacular he is.
He’s the boy-next-door wanderer. The dog who goes on the family adventure, plays with your kids, makes your parents fall in love with him, then sprawls across the living room floor like he’s been part of the family for the last decade.
Stan has this way of turning rain clouds into rainbows.
Kids find joy in him.
Adults find peace in him.
Somewhere in between the playing, exploring, laughing, and loving, the sun seems to find its way back into the room.
He’s gentle enough to trust with your heart.
Silly enough to keep it light.
Soulful enough to understand when it isn’t.
Your parents will love him.
Your kids won’t let him go.
One day you’ll look across your home at this giant Gumby creature sleeping upside down on your sofa and realize something:
It feels complete.
That’s Stan. Mcprescue.org
