Juni is a 4MO, 18lb Shepherd/Collie (we are guessing?) mix. She is most likely going to be about 35-45lbs when full grown, but she does have short little legs, which are just absolutely adorable! Juni and her 3 siblings were found abandoned on the side of the road in Texas. We don't know how many of them there were originally, but unfortunately it's safe to assume there were others that didn't make it. Once they were rescued they were brought to a local vet to get the proper care and support they needed since they were emaciated and dehydrated. Once Juni and her siblings were healthy and stable, they made their way to our rescue here in CO where we are hoping they find families of their very own.
Juni's foster Momma has nothing but great things to say about her and her brother. They quickly learned the dog door and have been doing well with potty training. Juni is incredibly snuggly and loving. She gets along great with the other dogs in the home (big and small) and does well with all the humans, including the fosters kid. Juni loves to play and romp around the yard with the other dogs. She is a happy, happy girl with lots of fun puppy energy. She would do great in a home with another dog to play with, or someone who wants an adventure buddy and sidekick. She is always up for whatever! Since Juni and her siblings seem to be super smart, she will thrive with someone who enjoys training and the rewards that come along with that.
