Meet Arlene!

At just 8 weeks old and 7.3 pounds, Arlene is a sweet Shepherd blend puppy with a cute squishy face! She is always eager to investigate new sights and sounds, and then take a long nap with her toys surrounding her! She's usually the first to venture out of the comfort zone and lead the pack into uncertain scary new things. Big house and bigger dogs! What a big adventure! Arlene and all of her siblings love love love water!! So she will need a kiddie pool this summer!

Arlene's story began when her mom, Alina, was rescued from a life on the streets. Living among trash and heavily pregnant, Alina was brought to safety just days before giving birth to eight beautiful puppies in a loving foster home. Mom Alina is super happy and social weighing in a 30lbs. Dad is unknown! Thanks to her wonderful mom and dedicated foster family, Arlene has been surrounded by love, good care, and socialization from the very beginning.

Growing up alongside her siblings and other foster dogs, Arlene is learning all the important dog skills she needs to become a wonderful companion. She is a smart girl at 8 weeks old and doing great in her potty training and goes on her potty pads most of the time!
